Position Description

Registrar

Camper check-in (Sunday arrive by 1:00) Camp photo & processing
Camper check-out (Saturday morning - arrive by 7:30 am) |
Logistics Coordinator
|
Oversees logistics and camp facilities during camp - liason between Camp Yeager staff (Norm) and Camp Wahoo; handles any facility problems; monitors for shortages in supplies; ensures smooth rotation of groups/cabins during the week; off-site errands.

Crafts Coordinator
|
Meets with youth staff to plan camp crafts, inventory supplies and equipment needed; estimates costs; prepares a summary of craft projects; purchases supplies & equipment to use at camp when making crafts.

Recreation Coordinator
|
Meets with youth staff to plan camp recreation program; inventory supplies and equipment needed; estimate costs; purchase needed supplies and equipment prior to camp start.

Nature/Beach Coordinators
(need 2) |
Meets with youth staff to develop, plan, schedule, and instruct the campers in a Nature Program. These coordinators will accompany campers to the beach and pool. The beach and pool program is daily and the coordinators can alternate these activities.

Challenge Adventure Coordinator
|
Meets with youth staff to develop and plan teambuilding, problem-solving, leadership activities. The coordinator will lead these activities during during camp with the help and assistance of the youth staff (GPS activity).

CampHealth Monitor/
Risk Management |
This adult volunteer maintains the campers' treatment forms, keeps and administers medications, and keeps a log-sheet of duties performed as related to medical treatment and administration of medications; advises kitchen staff of any special dietary needs for any camper or staff; advises staff about risks due to camp facilities or behavior; works closely with Logistics Coordinator to resolve any and all facility risks.

Cooks Cook's Assistants (need 2 to 4)
|
Plan menu, calculate quantities, determine grocery list, shop for immediate supplies, coordinate meal preparation, clean kitchen, monitor camper helpers as needed.
