(born October 23, 1979 in Burley, Idaho), lived in the Mexican state of Sinaloa until the age of 8. He and his family later moved to Glenns Ferry, Idaho. He is the son of Juan Guerrero and Dora Guerrero Gastelum. He graduated from Glenn’s Ferry High School and he graduated from Boise State University where he received a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design in 2004. Before entering the popular Mexican show La Academia, an 'American Idol'-style TV show, he was a member of several music groups, most recently Grupo Karibe in Boise, which performs all styles of music in Spanish. He was working for a Boise Airport car rental company when he auditioned for the show in Los Angeles. He beat out 150,000 people from Mexico and the United States to become one of 18 contestants during the show's fourth season. On 24 September 2005, Edgar Guerrero traveled to Burley, Idaho, to receive the keys of the city for being a good ambassador of the community. The mayor John Anderson proclaimed 24 September "Edgar Guerrero Day" and in Boise Idaho on the 17th of November. At this moment Edgar is working on many projects, he currently resides in Phoenix AZ, owns a marketing company called P.E.G. MPP Marketing, Promotions and Productions.

Saul Solis is a first-generation Mexican American. He was born in Ontario, Oregon and was raised in Weiser, Idaho. Saul grew up in a migrant farm-working family so during summer months he and his siblings joined their parents working in the fields. His parents instilled a strong work ethic and passion for education so that someday he and his siblings would do work beyond the fields of Idaho and Oregon. Upon graduating from Weiser High School, Saul moved to Boise and attended Boise State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management. Saul started his career at a company called Impac Services where he worked on Oracle software implementation projects for seven years. Currently, Saul is a Software Development Product Manager for a software company called Cask that is headquartered in San Diego, CA, but he works out of their Boise, Idaho office. Saul helps software development teams develop applications for the United States government. He enjoys traveling and meeting people from all over the world. Samantha Guerrero is a first-generation Idahoan and daughter of Mexican immigrants. She graduated from the College of Idaho with her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology/Sociology and Political Economy. Samantha is the bilingual agriculture and food community organizer for the environmental justice non-profit, Idaho Organization of Resources Councils. She co-founded the Idaho Immigrant Resource Alliance to provide farm worker and immigrant families in Idaho resources during the pandemic. In 2020 Samantha was elected as a Trustee for the College of Western Idaho, the largest community college in the state of Idaho.

Rita Casaverde is a District Representative for Congressman Salud Carbajal. Rita has been an immigration, climate and women's rights activist for years, which led to her interest in public service. Rita’s professional experience has not been linear. She studied Ecotourism Engineering in Peru, where she was born and raised, and worked leading conservation projects in the Andes of Peru. Her conservation work granted her a Green Youth award by the United Nations. When she moved to the United States she made a career switch into Quality Assurance in technology companies in San Luis Obispo. She later transitioned into the role of Product Manager. Continuing to follow her passions, Rita left her 8 years of experience in technology to join Congressman Carbajal’s team in San Luis Obispo. My journey to this career started young, and while it took a lot of work and sacrifice, I would not trade it for anything. Silvino Jimenez recently joined Microsoft as a DRAM System’s Engineer where he is responsible for validating incoming commodities to ensure the integrity of the Azure Cloud Infrastructure. Prior to joining Microsoft, Silvino was a System’s Compatibility and Design-For-Test Engineer at Micron. During his time there, he worked with DRAM products, provided expert level failure analysis and implemented test coverage to enhance product quality. Marisa Samoshin is an R&D Project Manager at HP and manages a team of Chemists and Engineers across multiple HP sites. Her team develops critical technology components that enable HP’s 3D Multi-Jet Fusion printing. Marisa started her career at HP working with worldwide teams to develop technology to print directly onto corrugate board and on large format media for the commercial printing market. Marisa is a 4-H Alumnus from Santa Clara County where she learned and practiced many skills, including time management, leadership and public speaking. This experience provided a foundation for learning throughout her education, and ultimately prepared Marisa to enter the workforce in her career journey. Marisa completed her B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Redlands and earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from UCSB. Her advice to others is “don’t let your dreams hold you back when preparation meets opportunity.”

Dr. Hollister grew up in Lompoc, California on his family's cattle ranch. Growing up on a ranch instilled a passion for livestock at a young age. He maintained the family's ranch- learning a strong work ethic, the basis taking care of the animals and learning the fundamentals of a working ranch. Dr. Hollister received his diploma from St. George’s University in June 2018 for his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He is currently practicing Veterinary Medicine specializing in Bovine Reproduction in Weatherford, Texas. Dr. Hollister is co-owner of Premier Reproductive Services (PRS) dedicated to advancing the Cattle Industry, ensuring a positive future through the reproduction process.
